September 4: Cracking Open (Ayr, Scotland)
All day today I have felt like my chest was cracking open. I have continued to press my hand over my heart just to keep it from bursting through me.
September 3: Farmland (Kilbirnie, Scotland)
It started at the grocery store in Kilburnie… and ended in Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park. In total, it was just under 11 miles, out and back.
August 26: Rainy Markets & Coffee (Limerick)
It’s a perfect day for writing: A little misty outside, cozy inside. I’m currently tucked into a bright corner by the window of The Buttery
August 25: An Garda Síochána (The Irish Police) (Limerick)
Most of my best travel stories come from the moments I’ve often been most afraid… I suppose this day will be added to that archive of travel stories that I break out when people ask me for “crazy travel stories.”
August 21: Magic, Beauty, Goodness, and Flowers (Lisburn)
I hate to leave the serenity of this garden. I have a another bus to catch in a few hours… But for now, I’m pretending I don’t have to rush.
August 17: Meet Louise (Derry)
Here we are more than a year later and I am back in Louise’s garden… This is what I love about travel - the trust it requires in other people, the openness it encourages.
August 16: Travel Honestly (Arrival in Ireland)
It doesn’t matter how much I have traveled and how well practiced my departure routine is… arrival day of a trip is a challenge!
